Failing For Dummies

So yeah, I failed at this whole blog thing. Give a guy some leeway? I have been gaming a lot, almost too much. Between DieCon craziness and game jumping like mad, it has been a rough June for, as one Jeremy Weber says, Dat Flanz. What games? I am hitting some of the big names as well as a new ever growing addiction as well as a great FREE game I do not mind pimping. I have been playing WM/Hordes, Magic and 40k a lot recently. If it is not assembling shiny new Eldar or scoping the meta game of Magic, I have been known to be playing hours of League of Legends. It is a free game based on DOTA, a famous Warcraft 3 custom map. It is amazing. Check it out!

The week began like a turtle...

I have heard enough about turtles this weekend as my Mother found one and cared for one last week. Additionally, it was a slow morning. After a great morning of listening to a racist old man, I got to clean my grandmother's car trunk and then proceed to drive the 5+ hours home to STL from Nashville. Good news is I came home to a different Nashville, Steve Nash-ville.

The Suns get a big win over the Lakers. @Amareisreal coming out big, and Steve getting his nose busted...again! I feel like they could have played a lot better and that is good news. They did not have to play 100% to win and I like that. I look forward to better playing down the stretch from them.

This week is Hardcore, and I am not talking about nudity. I have to paint a CRAP ton of models. I am excited though, as a drink wager was put on it, and nothing motivates me more than a bet. Looking forward to a great 2 weeks here as Diecon Rapidly approaches!

All in a days work

For those of you who do not know, I work for an online retailer. We just happen to sell games, and I just so happen to be a gamer. A natural fit? Maybe. But being the marketing director of company such as this has its ups and down. My reference in my first post about "kissing ass" is to the people who ask too many questions, mostly ones that do not ultimately end in a yes or no, and involve me doing work for nothing. I love customer service, but I am not a slave. I really like doing what I am doing, although I thought of it originally as a side job. I need to work harder, as I have barely tapped my potential, but the drive can be diminished by people like the aforementioned characters.

As for gaming, I was bummed to find out that the SC2 (Starcraft 2) Beta ends May 30th for a few weeks. With a late July release of the game,they are really ramping up to getting it right. unfortunately, in my opinion, I think they need us, the testers. The game will be good, and hopefully they can fix everything and work on the game balance.

Finally WM/Hordes. Hardcore at Diecon is knocking and I have what done? Wow I am gonna be fucked...like the bad way. I am not even sure what I am running yet, AND I have very little painted. This drinks to you Khador! May you pull something out of your ass to let me compete in a very rough Diecon Hardcore. We can only wait and find out! I will keep you updated, as you seem to listen so well. Of to grind out some SC2 games and blow off painting.

Why for blood?

Because I take everything way too seriously. I am hard at work at a retail gaming virus, growing with the utmost speed and taking the world via epidemic! I go home and play games, whether it be a 1 on 1 Starcraft 2 match, a quick game of full metal football called Warmachine, or shooting around on my hoops up the street. I have bled too many times in this obsession, and because of this I am out for blood. I want it all, and will never stop until I get it. We will see how that goes. Until then back to ass kissing customers in hope they spend every dime on plastic or metal men. Suckers...
